Devine Pause Vaginal Support Supplement

$24.00

Just because you're going through or have gone through menopause, doesn't mean your sex life has to pause as well.

We have crafted Devine Pause with three amazing herbs and roots that have been used to help combat certain dis-orders commonly associated with menopause.

Called the "Queen of herbs," Asparagus racemosus (Shatavari) has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries and is considered to be supportive for the reproductive system. Shatavari is a highly regarded herb for femina health and it is the most important herb in Ayurvedic medicine to support fertility. The name Shatavari translates to "a femina with a hundred husbands". Shatavari is helpful in menstrual disorders and acts as a uterine tonic. It enhances breast development and increases breast milk production by regulating hormonal balance. Shatavari contains estrogenic steroid saponins, such as sarsaponin, protodioscin, and diosgenin. It is used to support a healthy balance of estrogens and progesterones. Shatavari is also considered a rasayana, or longevity tonic. As a rasayana, it was traditionally used to lessen the effects of aging, increase longevity, impart immunity, boost mental function, add vigor and vitality to the body, combat vaginal dryness, boost arousal, and as an adaptogen balance cortisol.

Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) has been used for millennia for its soothing properties to help combat vaginal dryness and atrophy, a common side effect of perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause. Marshmallow also aids in fighting vaginal infection.

Althaea, derived from the Greek word 'altheo' meaning to heal or cure, from the genus Malva, and of the Malvaceae derived from the Latin 'mollis', or the Greek 'malake' meaning soft, identifies Marshamallow’s healing and softening qualities.

In Ayurveda, the root is used to reduce vata (dry constitutional type) and increase kapha (wet constitutional type). It is considered to be energetically cold, sweet tasting, and moistening.

Marshmallow stimulates a "vital reflex" which instructs the body to moisten the mucous membranes. This makes it the perfect choice for those experiencing vaginal dryness, vaginal atrophy, and discomfort due to peri- menopause and menopause

Lepidium Meyenii (Maca) is often times referred to as Peruvian Ginseng. Native to the high plateaus of the Peruvian Andes Mountains, Maca has been cultivated and used for over 2000 years as both a source of nutrition and medicine.

Shatavari is the Queen of Herbs, and helps to regulate hormones, and support a healthy balance of estrogens and progesterones.

When added to water, the powdered marshmallow root becomes a soothing mucilage that moistens and soothes, while the herb's tannins are astringent which helps to soothe inflammation. Combined this mucilage and tannins help reduce swelling, moisten the vagina and heal damaged tissues.

Vaginal dryness in menopause is due to the thinning of the mucous membranes along with a loss of elasticity in the walls of the vagina. However, vaginal dryness can occur during perimenopause, after menstruation, after childbirth, during and after sexual intercourse, or any time hormones are imbalanced.

Mucilage is the most abundant constituent of marshmallow root. The mucilage of the plant contains antioxidants, and research suggests that it forms a coating over skin and the digestive tract. By doing this, it may also help with skin irritation and digestive issues, such as ulcers.

Common side effects include:

Nausea

Dizziness

Skin Irritation

Marshmallow Root may coat the digestive tract. Because of this, it may interfere with the absorption of certain drugs.

Avoid using marshmallow root under the following situations:

There is also a concern that it could interfere with the blood sugar control and also increase your risk of bleeding while and also after the surgery. So, stop taking marshmallow at least 2 weeks before your scheduled date of surgery.

While consumption of Maca Root has shown no adverse side affects, it is not known whether maca is safe to consume during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please speak with a medical professional if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking supplements that contain Maca.
